The Senior Sailpoint Engineer should have the ability to work alone or as part of a team to implement technical specifications on a Sailpoint Deployment or Implementation Projects.



 Translate the technical specifications document into implementation and customizations specific to Sailpoint Environments and Platforms

• Perform project tasks as directed by the Service Manager and/or the senior technical resource to deploy Sailpoint solutions in accordance with Identropy’s Services Methodology

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and bug-related engineering efforts

• Work with vendor product support to open, troubleshoot, and resolve product issues as required

• Aid in the writing of standard configuration documentation

• Attend relevant technical training and conferences to further develop technical skills and remain current on IAM market trends, tools, methodologies, and best practices

• The ability to work directly with the customer to design standard architectures for Sailpoint deployments and implementations

• Engage in requirements gathering and use cases development

• Proficiency to implement Sailpoint technologies with minimal guidance/help from more senior resources

• Provide knowledge transfer and post-production support activities as necessary

• Develop and execute technical test cases and test plans for Sailpoint environments

• Help to drive Identropy’s project delivery methodology and ensure timely escalation of status, issues, and risks




  • • Strong written and verbal skills

• Soft skills and customer engagement experience

• Mid-level coding or scripting experience in a commonly used language (Java, Beanshell, XML, Javascript, etc)

• Basic experience working with commonly used enterprise technologies Including Sailpoint IIQ, IDN, Active Directory, LDAP, HRMS, RDBMS (SQL), and SaaS applications

• Experience in a consulting services role, or related information security positions desired

• Must be able to travel at least 50% of the time

• Demonstrated ability to learn new technology or concepts quickly

• Demonstrated outstanding time management, independent work and organizational skills

• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems or related area of study; equivalent combination of education and experience

• Must be able to communicate technical details in a clear, understandable manner to technical counterparts from the client organization

 3+ years of experience in security consulting, security administration, and/or Information Technology field

• 1+ year experience deployment experience specific to Sailpoint products and deployments
